• Question: What would happen to Arctic and Antarctic creatures such as the Polar Bear and Penguin if the ice caps were to completely melt?

      Unfortunately, its is very likely that they will become extinct, or seriously endangered, as their habitat’s and food supplies would be gone, and the change would happen so quickly they probably wouldnt have time to evolve and adapt to the changing environment….not good news I’m afraid. Climate change is not good news for most life – scientists are extremely concerned about the oceans too, and think that we are currently or soon will be going through some of the most rapid mass extinction events in the history of life on Earth.
