Question: what makes you so intrested in antartica?

Antarctica is the last great unknown on the surface of Earth, and is absolutely crucial to understanding the climate system. It’s also one of the most extreme places on Earth, an entire continent with mountain ranges and massive valleys and lakes and river networks completely covered in ice. We know so little about it, even though its the size of Europe! I just love the idea that it is as remote and alien as another planet! It’s just such a cool place – literally!!
