• Question: Is peoples awareness of global warming slowing down the rate of the ice sheets melting?

      Hmmmm….my answer to that question would be…..not yet! Unfortunately, the changes that occur as a result of our actions today (by injecting greenhouse gases into the atmosphere) won’t actually be observable for hundreds of years. The climate change that we are seeing today is as a result of the greenhouse gases produced during the industrial revolution, in the 18th and 19th century. That doesnt mean we shouldn’t try not to reduce our impact today, as our grandchildren and their children will have to deal with the consequences! Hope this answered you question some…. 🙂
