• Question: is it possible there will be a cure for cancer or aids in the next years ?

      Hi superbrandon, a good question!

      There are different types of cancer, so we will have to discover different medicines to treat each of them. I think that in the next few years, there will be new medicines that help people with types of cancer that are really hard to treat at the moment. It will be very difficult to find cures for all the different types, but I think that medicines for cancer will get a lot better than they are now.

      AIDS is caused by a virus called HIV that infects people and stays in their bodies, causing AIDS. HIV is a very difficult virus to fight because it is clever and can change to resist the medicines. But I think that we should be hopeful that there will be a cure at some point in the future – there are so many top scientists trying all the time. Personally, I hope that they will be able to find some kind of vaccine, that would help people not to get HIV in the first place.
