• Question: How many medicines/drugs are there?

      This is a good question – I did not know the answer, but I have managed to look it up.

      The list of medicines that can be used in America is about 25000 – I am not sure of the number here in the UK, but I expect it to be about the same.

      I was surprised that the number was so high, I would have guessed a lot less. It must be very difficult for doctors!
