Question: Have you ever failed a science assessment or test before?

Yes!! I actually did really badly at chemistry at A-Level, which is so ironic because I am now a chemist. I failed my first AS, and quit and took geography instead, which I got an A in, so it worked out in the end. I was really awful at certain exams – one where I had to write loads of stuff were fine, but ones where I had to do calculations were always a nightmare!
