• Question: From which country does the best space station come from?

      I think there is only one at the moment, the ISS (international space station). I think it’s mainly been made by scientists from the American and Russian space organisations.

      I think in history, you have to say Russia (or the Soviet Union as it was then). That’s because they made all the original space stations.

      Well first it was Russian. The Russians had one of the biggest and longest lasting spacestations ever!
      It broke all the space records and was world famous.. it was called ‘Mir’ in Russian this means ‘peace’ 🙂
      But like all good things it had to come to an end and it was sent crashing into the ocean a few years ago.

      Nowdays we have the international space station ISS.. this is built by not country, but loads!
      Astronauts on the ISS come from all over the world, even from countries that don’t have proper space programs hehe 🙂
      Doing things internationally is much better because you can share the cost of the space station.. which is like billions of pounds, proper expensive!
