• Question: Do you have to do tests on animals, if so do you feel bad

      I do not do them myself, but I ask for my possible medicines to be tested on animals sometimes, and I look at the results from the animal experiments.

      I think it is sad that we have to do tests on animals – but at the same time I believe strongly that it the only way I can get the information I need to develop the medicine. I think it is the only safe way to check the medicine before we give it to people. What we are careful to do is to do all the other possible tests we can before we do the tests on the animals – that means we do as few animal experiments as possible.

      I can understand why people don’t like the idea of animal testing. I know that, for me, I am against animal testing on make up – I don’t think it’s right to do that.
